Rock Springs Baptist Church is located in Licking, Missouri with a congregation of approximately 125 attending weekly. The church currently holds Sunday School, Sunday Worship services and Wednesday night services. The congregation is seeking a highly motivated individual willing to satisfy the following criteria to fill a newly created Youth Pastor position within the church.

• Must be a believer in Jesus Christ.
• Affiliated Southern Baptist faith-teaching should coincide with doctrine taught at our church.
• Work in conjunction with the Senior Pastor.
• Lead worship/devotion times with Youth.
• Serve as a role model and teach youth about a relationship with God, as well as church membership.
• Identify and support teachers for Bible study at various times throughout the year.
• Plan and coordinate activities at least quarterly with Youth to encourage fellowship among the Youth.
• Be involved in camps for Youth and represent them during the planning process.
• Organize Children’s Church.
• Provide counsel for issues facing teens in today’s society that is relevant and biblically based.
• Be willing to work with significant other or other church member of the opposite gender to address issues affecting both genders within the Youth group.
• Develop relationships with families of Youth attending activities to encourage involvement in Sunday School and worship services.

Since this position is new to the church, the position may begin as part-time and develop into a bi-vocational or full-time position depending on the vision and needs of the church and candidate after prayerful consideration.
